At Pro Players Foundation (PPF), our mission is to “Enrich the lives of children across North Texas.” Through impactful programs and the support of corporate sponsors, PPF empowers youth by addressing critical needs and creating opportunities for future success.
Internship Overview
This internship offers a full-time, unpaid learning experience designed to help students develop essential management skills while gaining valuable real-world experience in the nonprofit and sports industries. Interns will work directly with PPF’s executive team to oversee operations, collaborate with professional sports foundations, and drive community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing seasonal community projects and fundraising events, including:
- Annual Golf Tournament and Clay Shoot
- Big Bike Build
- Construction projects (e.g., playgrounds, sports courts, learning centers)
- Support social media initiatives and marketing campaigns.
- Contribute to event planning, logistics, and operational tasks.
- Build relationships with corporate sponsors
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field (e.g., marketing, communications, nonprofit management, sports management).
- Strong written, verbal communication, and customer service skills.
- Creative, flexible, and open to learning in a dynamic environment.
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends for PPF events and meetings.
